Frights needed a logo character and Fritz walked through the door. We hired him on the spot, without knowing a thing about his history or previous employment. We just thought he had the right look. Do you know what I mean? When you just meet someone and you know that they are the one? Well Fritz was the one. That was then. Since then much has changed for the site, and for Fritz...
That's why we decided to listen to what you asked us to do. We interviewed Fritz.
Here it is... The Exclusive....
Hey Fritz wassup! Why didn't you come out bowling last week? You know it was Daisy's leaving party? We missed you there...
We all had a wicked time bowling and then went for a few drinks. Daisy got really upset that you weren't there. I think she was crying about it towards the end of the night |
You gotta be kidding. You bring me here to guilt trip me about this or what?
Next question... |
OK let's start with the basics.
Favorite colour? |
Gotta be black |
Favourite food? |
Curds and whey |
Curds and whey? What the 'eck is that? |
You gotta be kidding me...
Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet, Eating her curds and whey, Along came a spider and sat down beside her,
And frightened Miss Muffet away.
Seriously though, curds and whey are pretty much the lumpy and watery bits in cottage cheese... I can't be bothered to go into more detail |
Along came a spider... Why would a spider like cottage cheese? |
I don't know. But it's only a rhyme. Don't take things so seriously. |
A more fitting question is why do you like curds and whey? You're a ghost not a spider? |
.... |
So you're ignoring me now? |
The truth is that I'm a quarter spider. On my father's side. But my whole family would rather forget that. It's like every time I bring it up they try and shut me up.
I've got a right to know my roots...
Know why I'm a little different...
Know why I like hanging out in the corner of the room upside down... But it's like they're ashamed of it or something... |
Man that's deep. I don't know what to say. But a ghost and a spider? Even after a few drinks how did that happen? |
I don't want to talk about it any more... |
Do you want a tissue? |
.... |
Fritz, you're an icon, a singer songwriter, a ghost, part spider, you have a clothing line out now and I recently heard that you have plans to get into the movie business...
Some describe you as having more fingers in more pies than Diddy and Jay-z combined. How do you keep on top of it all? |
Well it's tough. Plus all the interviews. Life is coming at me fast. I'm very happy with the clothing line, sales have gone through the roof since the store opened in June 07. I can only put the success of that down to the designs, quality of product and nice price for anyone's budget.
As for the ghost duties, that stuff's second nature. But I have to correct you on something. Now I don't know how you found out about the movie business stuff. I have a sneaky suspicion who told you that and it's not true. I tried. Man the castings are hard work, but the agents really discriminated, they typecasted me into cartoons... So that's what I'm planning next - Cartoon movies...
(ps you gotta check the Jay-z link above, respect to Gates) |
Definitely, respect to Gates. And respect to you. Your new clothing line is wonderful and is making the world a better place one sale at a time.
Back to the questions. When I first met you Fritz I wasn't sure what to make of you. You were different. Plus you're a ghost so naturally you were scary because you're unnatural - no offense |
None taken
It's true that I used to be scary but the day I walked into the Frights.co.uk office I changed. I landed the responsibilty of a figurehead... and said I wouldn't let you down. |
Well thanks a lot Fritz you are a very important part of our team. I know you're busy (plus I'm too tired to think of any other questions) so I will let you disappear... hehe
Also the best of luck with all of your endeavours including the cartoon business. |
Thanks Dude! Really appreciate that. Means a lot. And when I have more time I will come back for a natter. |
